SCH 40 DWV

Drain, waste and vent (DWV) fittings are made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). PVC-DWV fittings are used for residential and commercial sanitary and roof drain systems. PVC is one of the thermoplastics materials most frequently specified for a variety of products used in the pipe and fittings industry. Due to it’s excellent rigidity, corrosion and chemical resistance properties, it is also used in many chemical related areas. Macon Plastics’ fittings meet ASTM D 2665, D 3311 and F 1866. These standards provide the material and test requirements as well as the fittings geometries for PVC DWV fittings. These fittings can be joined by threading, solvent cementing and Reiber joint gasketed methods and can easily be connected to other types of PVC pipe as well as steel, copper or cast iron pipe or fittings through the use of adapter/transition fittings. Maximum service temperature is 140°F. Do not test or use with compressed air or other gases.

Macon Plastics offers a complete line of Solvent Weld DWV Schedule 40 fittings used in drain, waste and vent applications. Engineered to perform in the harshest environments and designed and manufactured to consistent dimensions, these fittings deliver a securely sealed, water-tight joint connection on every installation.
